Shane Carroll leads Broncos past Eisenhower
Mustang's Shane Carroll may only be 6-foot-3, but he plays bigger than his size! The Bronco sharpshooter scored 29 points to his team past Lawton Eisenhower on Friday at Putnam City.
Eisenhower, the favorite in the contest, is now eliminated from the 6A boys basketball championship tournament.
Mustang regained the lead for the final time on a basket by Carroll midway through the second quarter.
The Bronchos extened their lead to nine points early in the final period, but the Eagles fought back to within a basketball in the final minute of the game.
Jacobi Isham scored 25 for Eisenhower.
Mustang will face the state's top team in Class 6A on Saturday evening. Putnam City and the Broncos will tip off at 7:00.
