Sapulpa and Union advance to
state
Top ranked Sapulpa will play
their next game in the 6A State tournament in Oklahoma City next week, as
will No. 3 Union.
Sapulpa defeated No. 7 Claremore
on Thursday night in Catoosa, 35-22.
Union needed four overtimes to
down No. 6 Owasso, 49-47, at Tulsa Rogers.
Claremore and Owasso will have
one more chance to make it into the State tournament on Saturday at Will
Rogers High School.
Claremore will meet Edmond
North, who beat Edmond Memorial last night in Catoosa, 44-39.
Owasso and Bartlesville will
also play on Saturday at Rogers.
