BA's strong second half defeats Edmond North
Broken Arrow overcame a stubborn Edmond North
squad with a very strong second half effort.
Trailing 16-10, BA scored 28 unanswered points
in the final two quarters.
The Huskies scored first on a 31-yard pass from
Casey Goben to Mokie Salam.
The Tigers countered with a 29-yard field goal
by Peter Jensen.
And the Huskies scored again - on 42-yard
touchdown run by Roy Finch. The extra-point kick failed.
With Edmond North leading 13-3, Broken Arrow
scored on a 2-yard run by quarterback Cale Fulps.
North managed a 37-yard field goal by Brett
Perry before the half ended.
The final 24 minutes of the game belonged to
Broken Arrow, who scored three touchdowns in the third period - two by Chris
Ford and one by Taylor York.
BA added another touchdown in the final period
on a 27-yard pass from Fulps to Jerrod Green to claim a 38-16 victory.
