Yukon stays unbeaten, beats PC West
Maybe the Yukon are for
real. With a convincing 42-12 victory over Putnam City West, the
hometown MIllers upped their season record to a perfect 3-0 record.
Yukon scored on three
straight possessions to open the game - and put the game away early.
Yukon's quarterback,
Clay Garrett, had a career night against the Patriots. Garrett
passed for a pair of touchdown - a 10-yard pass to Kenny Garcia and
an 8-yard toss to Jordan Corn - and also scored on a pair of
rushing touchdowns, both from the 4-yard line.
The Pats were down 14-0
when they first scored on a 16-yard run by Sean Shattuck in the
opening period.
West's other scored came
on a 46-yard pass from Bryce Stout to Daniel Farrow in the second
quarter.
